What is a Workspace in Faradex?

Modified on Fri, 23 Oct, 2026 at 2:27 PM

A Faradex Workspace is a private, isolated area within your Faradex Dashboard for a single project, matter, or team. It has its own members, conversations, and files, and it runs on its own Dedicated Infrastructure. Nothing in one Workspace is shared with any other Workspace or any other customer.

What’s inside a Workspace?

  • Conversations: separate communication channels for different strands of work, for example tax, legal, or general

  • Files: the documents you upload and the documents the AI produces for you

  • Oz: the Faradex AI assistant, which joins your conversations when you mention @Oz

  • Your team: the colleagues the Workspace owner has invited

The owner can also add a short description of the Workspace’s purpose and sector. This helps Oz understand the context of your work.

Who can get into my Workspace?

Only people the Workspace owner invites. Each Workspace has one owner, who manages membership. Everyone else is a member.

How is my Workspace kept separate?

Each Faradex Workspace is a Single-Tenant Workspace running on its own Dedicated Infrastructure. “Single-tenant” means the computing resources are used by your Workspace alone and are not shared with other customers. Two Workspaces at the same firm are also kept separate from each other. The separation is built into the system itself; it doesn’t rely on a policy promise.

Is a Workspace my whole company account?

No. Your firm’s account is the Faradex Dashboard, which can hold several Workspaces. A Workspace is best thought of as a project, matter, or team. A firm can run separate Workspaces for different clients, matters, or teams, each fully isolated from the others.

What happens to my files?

Uploaded files and AI traffic are never written to disk. Resetting or restarting the Workspace clears your files and conversations permanently. Download any document you want to keep.

FAQ

Can I have more than one Workspace? Yes. Firms often use separate Workspaces for separate matters or clients.

Does closing my browser delete my files? No. Closing your browser does not delete files. Restarting or resetting the Workspace does.
